Artillero Ris

Artillero has been showing succesfully with Carlos throughout their partnership. He has earned high scores above 68% in his show debut at fourth level with Carlos. Carlos and Artillero have gone to FEI level, debuting in Prix St. Georges in 2017. They have continued their work in Prix St. George and have competed successfully with scores over 68% in 2018.

Duque de Tejo is a powerhouse. He came to us from Brazil at the age of seven. In just over two years, Carlos and Duque have rapidly climbed from first level to third level.

Inferno M

Breed: KWPN

Gender: Gelding

Inferno M is imported from the Netherlands from the established horse-breeding family, Dressuurstal Van Mook. He competed as a three-year-old in 2016 in the Netherlands at the KWPN Stallion show of Den Bosch. He placed 8th.


Since arriving to Los Angeles, California in March 2017, Carlos and Inferno M qualified for the 2017 USEF/Markel National 4-Year-Old Division and placed 4th nationally. Currently, Inferno is working on the first level and training for the FEI 5-year-old test.

Ken's Kitten

Breed: Off The Track Thoroughbred (OTTB)

Gender: Gelding

Ken's Kitten is a special thoroughbred. He was part of the Retired Racehorse Program, and assigned to Carlos's brother, Nuno Santos of Santos Sporthorses, to start Kitten in dressage. Well matched, Nuno and Kitten began to excel in dressage on the east coast. 


Nuno recognized Kitten's talent and sent the horse to Carlos Santos Dressage to perform in the West Coast show circuit. Carlos and Kitten excelled in the third level, receiving scores over 68%.

Quidam de Charry

Breed: Hanoverian

Gender: Gelding

Quidam is sired by famous dressage stallion, Quaterback. With time, Quidam will grow through the levels of dressage, showcasing his amazing agility and power. Currently, he has shown up to third level, scoring successfully over 70%.

Rubi's Legacy

Breed: Lusitano (Alter Real Line)

Gender: Gelding


 A horse gone to soon, Legacy was a young horse with a lot of spirit. His father is Rubi AR who qualified and showed at the London Olympics in 2012. His father is recognized as the #1 dressage Lusitano in the European show circuit. 


At a young age, Legacy had accomplished a lot. Bred by  Coulderia Quinta dos Cedros, he was placed as #1 in the 4-year old dressage class in the Portugal Dressage Cup, 2015. With his immense potential, we had achieved success in top CDI shows, surpassing several superb warmbloods.
