We Made It! USEF/Markel Insurance Young and Developing Dressage Nationals

We are elated with joy! This has been quite a journey, Inferno M and I have qualified for the 4 year old division at the USEF/Markel Insurance Young and Developing Dressage Nationals at the U.S Dressage Festival of Champions in Lamplight, Chicago this August 24-27.

Inferno has only been in the United States for 5 months. His first show was at Flintridge, scored a 7. It encouraged me to really analyze the young horse test and how judges evaluate it.

With that, we went up the CDI1* Paso Robles Dressage Classic, we won the little class with a 7.88. Then we clinched our second score at LAEC Summer Dressage show with an 8.1.

We have been having a couple of sessions with USEF Young Horse Coach, Christine Traurig, and prepping as much as we can to prepare for Chicago.
